This blog is a reflection of research I have collected about my families genealogy. I chose "A Fig A Day" because my maternal grandfather's surname is Figgins, and I grew up knowing more of my Figgins' heritage than my paternal side.

In this blog you can follow along as I discover and delve deeper into my ancestry. I will be documenting a profile for each person, as well as my connection to them. This will be a combo of my own ancestry, and that of my husband's lineage.
