And unlike most of the other Figgins I will mention in this blog, I have yet to link this line to any of the main Feagin lines. Laura's grandfather Sylvester I Figgins is in limbo. He may be apart of the major lines - his birth place in 1822 is listed in more than 3 records as Virginia, USA, but he ends up in Ohio after age 20 yrs. These are both prime Feagin territory.

Another possibility is he or his Father changed the surname to Figgins, or he had immigrated to the South US from abroad with the Figgins surname.

I am unable to find further records of him besides census.
